Youth Mentorship & Educational Programs

Conflict Management and Negotiation Skills

We created our Conflict Management and Negotiation Skills program after seeing too many small disagreements between children and young adults turn into broken friendships, school suspensions, or tension at home. In one recent group, a middle school student who was always "blowing up" learned how to pause, name what he was feeling, and use simple phrases to ask for what he needed. By the end of the workshop cycle, his teacher reported fewer outbursts and more participation in class.

In this program, we practice real-life scenarios: arguments with siblings, group projects, social media drama, and pressure from peers. Youth learn how to manage emotions, listen without interrupting, stand up for themselves without fighting, and work toward win-win outcomes. We use role-play, games, and reflection so the skills stick, not just for a day but for everyday life. Families often tell us, "The whole house feels calmer now." Our goal is to give young people tools they can carry into school, work, and relationships for years to come.
