Educational Enrichment & Literacy

We see what happens when a child sits in class hungry and behind in reading-it shows up in their grades, but it also shows up in their confidence. Our Educational Enrichment & Literacy program was designed to change that story. One fifth-grader came to us reading two levels below grade; after steady tutoring and access to our computer lab, he proudly read his first full chapter book to his grandmother.

We offer focused tutoring, digital literacy support, and safe computer access for homework, research, and skill-building. Students work in small groups and one-on-one with caring adults who break down tough subjects into something manageable. We also help youth learn how to type, use email, and navigate online learning platforms.

Many participants come straight from school, grab a snack, and settle into a routine of study that fits within our broader "Feed the Mind • Feed the Tummy" approach. Families tell us they feel less overwhelmed by school struggles and more hopeful about their children's future.
