Essential Needs Assistance

We have learned that it is nearly impossible to focus on school, work, or parenting when you are worried about diapers, clean clothes, or basic hygiene. Our Essential Needs Assistance program meets families right there, in that urgent space. We have watched the relief on a grandmother's face as she received diapers and wipes for the baby she is raising on a fixed income.

Through this program, families can access clothing, diapers, wipes, formula, and personal hygiene products. Sometimes the visit is sparked by a sudden job loss, a new baby, or an unexpected crisis; sometimes it is simply the end of the month and funds have run out.

We offer these items with dignity and privacy, often pairing the visit with a warm conversation and referrals to additional supports such as food, education, or mentoring. For many, this first step through our doors becomes the beginning of a longer journey toward stability and connection with community resources.
